BEAM, Vernia McCormick - Putnam

Mrs. Vernia Lee Beam, 52, died Saturday morning. funeral was held at the home near New Maysville, Wednesday afternoon. Internment was made in New Maysville cemetery. Born September 11, 1885, near Alamo, the daughter of James and Rebecca Wert McCormick. She married July 3, 1902, to Walter Beam, who survives. Other survivors are three daughters; Mrs. Mary Bates, Covington, Kentucky, Mrs. Orfia Todd of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Imogene Griswold of near here; four sons; Darrell of Indianapolis, Glesner C. of Metchen, New Jersey, Paul J. of Indianapolis, and Ralph F. of near here; two brothers, Herbert I. McCormick of near Alamo, (second one not mentioned), two sisters; Mrs. Cora Pickett of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Emma Fink of Yountsville and four grandchildren. - thanks so much to Marilyn W for these awesome RT obituaries :)
